Highlights from Las Vegas Market – January 2019

The 2019 Las Vegas Winter Market has wrapped up, with record-breaking attendance! This was a great market where many designers and vendors came together to discuss industry trends, and our lines were no exception. Please see highlights from all of our lines that showcased at this market below. If you have any questions regarding our lines and products or would like to set an appointment, please contact your Bassman Blaine Independent Sales Representative.

Noir is currently revamping their sample program, soon to be available in both ring sets and individual samples, and we are expecting new lighting and 2019 line catalogs prior to the High Point market. Noir has also debuted their exploration into modular furniture, allowing for designer experimentation with furniture form and function. CFC displayed the fall 2018 introductions as well as sixteen brand new fabrics for the upholstery line!

Cyan Design debuted their newly remodeled showroom with 150+ new introductions! Among these introductions are beautiful new glass pieces and occasional furniture available at competitive prices, and items are well stocked at their Texas warehouse.

DV Kap introduced brand new fabrics and showcased their made-to-order furniture line. Among the new fabric releases, you will find the trendy hues of Living Coral, the Pantone color of the year!

Jamie Young had a great market with the launch of the 2019 catalog, and all introductions were in stock at the Gardena warehouse in time for Las Vegas! These introductions included an expansion of the unique materials the line employs, including lighting made of a plaster of paris-like material. The Jamie Young line is 95% in stock, and ships out of Gardena within 2-3 days. Please see the attachment at the bottom of this email for all 2019 introductions. Congratulations to the three winners of Jamie Young’s first-ever photo contest, which included two of our customers: Nancy Russet of Les Beaux Interiors (Manhattan Beach) and Genevieve Chambliss from Vieve Interiors (Newport Beach)!

Leftbank started off the year with nine new finish introductions, including art printed on linen or metal, hand-painted geometric canvas sets, glass framed multi-mat pieces, and hand embellished art under glass.

Phillips Collection made a statement at market, with exciting new wall decor, fun ruffle pendant lighting, and table materials. Notable new table finishes are the Atlantic Dining Table, where bone chips are affixed to wood in a mosaic pattern and then painted in a uniform color, and the Chamcha Wood Chainsaw Dining Table under Glass, hand carved and inspired by the chainsaw sculptures in the Origins collection.

Pom Pom is continuing to expand their collections with new soft colorways accented in Navy, Terra Cotta and Olive, bamboo duvets, and wool rugs in 2×3, runners, and larger sizes at competitive price points!

Matt and Michelle from The Tac Room had the grand opening of their first ever showroom at Las Vegas Market, showcasing brand new pieces and announcing that pricing on most items in the line have been lowered about 5%. All items are made to order with a 4-6 week lead time in Los Angeles and can be made in standard sizes or customized (with a 6-8 week lead time), and with grade in fabrics or COM!

Worlds Away released their brand new 2019 catalog, and displayed many great introductions at market along with it. Keep an eye out for the expanded seating collections in luxurious, colorful velvets and brand new vanities!
