Spring is in the air… and so are glamorous rugs to easily give any interior a fresh, new makeover.
Jaipur Living has introduced over 300 new products, which they revealed at Spring High Point Market.
A new name, a new point of view, an exciting new crop of merchandise. The spring High Point show was marked by several exciting introductions for Jaipur Living, as the global lifestyle brand formally debuted its fresh look following the company’s recent name change. Awaiting attendees during the much-anticipated spring market was a color coordinated, creatively layered showroom experience and a variety of new constructions in rugs, at a variety of price points.
“The past year for us has been all about laying the groundwork for the next chapter in our story as Jaipur Living,” says Asha Chaudhary, president, Jaipur Living. “Our evolving brand is setting the stage to elevate the quality of our products. We’re raising the bar both on our casual-timeless looks and our luxury styles, as evidenced by our new releases this spring.”
More than 300 products joined the diverse portfolio from the award-winning company, best known for revolutionizing the home industry with a transformative business model centered on its passion for people, product and design. The introductions spanned multiple key categories, including Flatweaves, Indoor/Outdoor, Naturals, Machine Made, Hand-tufted, Poly-tufted, Solids, Handlooms and Handknots. Jaipur Living’s designer series also saw updates to popular collections from kate spade new york home, Jennifer Adams, Nikki Chu, National Geographic Home and Traditions Made Modern.
“We have focused on what our customer asked us for, and much more. Bold colorful patterns in flatweaves and mixed materials with jute—what we call our new naturals with a twist,” says Li Kurczewski, creative director, Jaipur Living. “We will forever love Moroccan vintage rugs and are taking them to new heights, along with reinterpreted kuba cloth patterns embracing indigenous designs from all over the globe. For contemporary lovers, we have abstract water color paintings coming to life in art silk, and a showroom experience much different than the rest, hand-serving mint tea and playing an edited playlist curated by Mitchell Dill of Detroit-based Two Cheers.”
Product displays throughout the showroom brought to life some of Kurczewski’s favorite trends, curated through the team’s own global travels and hands-on work with Artisans and design partners.
“We have crafted our own personalized color palette exclusive to Jaipur Living – an assortment that is deeper in hues, and richer in dimension,” adds Kurczewski. “You will see this in our ‘Lake’ display in the showroom, dripping with inky indigos, cobalt and a touch of neutral.”
An homage to Jute is also prevalent. “Jute has incredible texture and a comfortably coarse hand that takes color beautifully and lasts for decades,” continues Kurczewski. “It’s wonderful for layering and adding dimension to any room, not to mention a great way to go green given its sustainability.”
“I have never been more excited to welcome attendees into our showroom than I am for this upcoming show,” says Chaudhary. “From our fresh product introductions and trend vignettes to our event lineups, I have no doubt our customers will be surprised and delighted at every turn.”
